Go Big or Go Home: A Key Trail Junction

To understand and maximize the trails of Morice Mountain, one needs to see how they fit together. The Go Big or Go Home Junction is key to trail choices. Previously called the Sawdust Opening and various other things, the junction now brings together 5 trails for limitless options. Perfect for those super days when you just can’t make yourself turn back to the parking lot. More…

Happiness is a Fun Dog Run

Morice Mountain was an early adaptor to the “dogs welcome” movement and built some specific trails with our four-legged buddies in mind. With new additions every two years, our current offerings are intersecting staggered loops that provide hills and flats, openings and forest that work for dogs of all sizes. More…

Prime granola (no set track) classic skiing at any time of the year and randomly occurring deluxe skate conditions keep The Lakers watching for prime conditions. More…

Possum Paradise

One of the original trails, Possum has long been an alternative to Sawdust or an add-on to finish up a longer ski day. Then, in 2018, the Prez began to create his kingdom with new trails Cruisin’ and Chute. Skiers were shooting out of Chute at the parking lot with big smiles to finish up their ski days. Heavy competition for the ever-popular Last Chance. More…

The Outer Limits

It is mid-winter. The snowpack is good. The groomers have had a chance to catch up. You are starting to get into “ski” shape. The sun is out. Then you get the news you have been waiting for: the Outer Limits are groomed and perfect! This is the day to skip work. Skip dishes. Skip anything skippable. And ski. More…
